We Serve the Humanity
It’s not about what you have or what you’ve accomplished at the end of the day. It’s about whom you’ve bolstered, and whom you’ve empowered while contributing to the society that we live in. In April 2010, a small group of like-minded from Devhare in Ratnagiri district joined forces with a common goal – the betterment of our communities. With the inception of the idea stemming from the village we came from, we formed Niraman Samajik Sanstha. With helping underprivileged children, their families, and communities through grassroots activities, being at the core of our collective mission, we aim to create an impact on the lives of people of the people of Devhare and beyond, by spreading our wings across the state of Maharashtra.
Mr. Siddharth Deshmukh, Mr. Vivek Tamhane, and Mr. Viraj Tamhane are the founding members of Niraman Samajik Sanstha. In September 2013, once the Trust was formed, all of the required filings were completed.
In October 2013, Trust got the 1860/21 certificate from the Charity Commissioner Authority, which was our first major achievement.
In October of 2014, Trust got the 1950/29 certificate from the Charity Commissioner Authority, marking another watershed point in the organization’s history.
The Income Tax Department issued the Trust an 80 G and 12AA certificate in November 2021.

To run an organization that persistently responds to the changing social realities through the development and application of knowledge, towards the development of a sustainable society that promotes fundamental human rights like equality, and social justice for all.
Aims and Objectives
The trust believes that education is significant in order to achieve goals. It empowers an individual to earn their livelihood. It also increases one’s awareness of a range of issues – from healthcare to appropriate social behavior to understanding one’s rights – and in the process help them evolve as a better citizen. Education is the most effective tool which helps children build a strong foundation; enabling them to free themselves from the vicious cycle of ignorance, poverty and disease. Trust realized that education for children cannot be achieved without the family, particularly, unless the mother is assured of health care and empowered. Moreover, when an elder sibling is educated and relevantly skilled to be employable and begins earning, the journey of empowerment continues beyond the present generation.
Assessing the aforementioned aspects, the trust extended its thematic areas of intervention by supporting family health, livelihood, and women empowerment. Children, their families, and the community become the target group for the activities as child education cannot be done in isolation and nothing else but education for children can bring long-lasting change in society.

Good Governance
Credibility and accountability have always been the benchmark for Niraman Samajik Sanstha and we achieve it through the promotion of principles of good governance in the processes and practices. Trust has a four-tier audit and evaluation mechanism to ensure the impact of investment and complete transparency and accountability in the utilization of funds. This four-tier audit mechanism reviews programs and projects, internal operations, and compliance of statutory norms and conducts an external evaluation for the impact and outcome of various development programs. The entire management processes and practices of Trust are in compliance with the principles of good governance.
